Append Line Length/Append Arc Length

Use these dialogs to add a line element or arc element by specifying horizontal angle, gradient and distance.

Where do I find the dialog?

During line editing via the property dialog, point and right-click in the map window, select Append line length/Append arc length.

Using the dialog

The horizontal angle can be specified with different angular units. The angle can also be given relative to the previous line element.

The distance can be specified as 2D or 3D length (m).

The gradient is specified in percent (%). Positive upward and negative downward.
